

The peninsula of Rhuys is in the south of the "Golfe du Morbihan". The "Golfe du Morbihan" is a small sea where landscapes and lights are changing over the tides and seasons. More than a hundred kilometres of roads are available for hikers with family or friends.
The coastal footpath is available on the north coast (Gulf side) and south (Atlantic ocean).
Offered through 16 routes, paths are easy from 1 to 3 hours walking. These routes are presented in a guide : "Guide Balades et randonnées" (for sale 6 €), including IGN map, benchmarks, as well as the stories, legends and heritage met.

The peninsula of Rhuys has a bicycle map. It presents several routes between inside the peninsula and beaches. The map is free and available at tourist offices of the peninsula.

If you wish, you can cross on the other side of the Golfe du Morbihan with sea links ("passeurs"), to Locmariaquer, Damgan, Sene and some islands. Sea link for hiking or cycling.
